AMResorts branded properties are welcoming guests back this year with major resort enhancements in place. While the properties were closed for part of the year, North America's fastest growing luxury leisure resort company took the opportunity to invest more than $13 million in upgrades across Mexico and the Caribbean. Mexico Caribbean Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun
Completed in July, Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun underwent a pool renovation, upgrading the existing pool with an “artificial beach” on one side. The entrance of the pool now has a beach-like access and feeling for guests.
Currently undergoing enhancements are the main lobby and front desk. The area will be completely remodeled with brand new furniture, finishes and air conditioning to optimize guest experience. These enhancements have an estimated completion date of this month.
Secrets the Vine Cancun
Secrets the Vine Cancun completed enhancements in June to the two main pools using new tiles to create a new design and modern visuals for guests to enjoy.
Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort and Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort
The Market Café & World Café at both resorts completed enhancements this week, welcoming guests back to both restaurants.
Enhancements to the main pools at both resorts were also completed through May and June.
Now Jade Riviera Cancun
Now Jade Riviera Cancun recently completed restaurant renovations to the Italian restaurant Capers, Mexican restaurant Tamarindo, and the Nightclub, Scores.
Other completed resort renovations include the theater, wedding terrace, Core Zone and ocean front terrace.
Asian restaurant Spice is currently undergoing renovations that are expected to be completed October 1. While these renovations are being completed, alternative dining options are being offered at Carnival restaurant with an Asian menu.
Sunscape Sabor Cozumel
Sunscape Sabor Cozumel completed a room renovation to 80 Deluxe Tropical rooms, a remodel designed for guest comfort.
Mexico Pacific Dreams Acapulco Resort & Spa
Dreams Acapulco Resort & Spa recently completed enhancements to all meeting rooms, including new carpets, layouts and meeting room capacities to better serve the needs of meeting clients.
Sunscape Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa
Beginning in April and celebrating the grand opening September 3, Sunscape Puerto Vallarta transformed the kid’s pool into a waterpark for families to enjoy. This new 6,200 square feet water park includes waterslides, sprinklers and a splash bucket for kids ages 3-12.
Punta Cana Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana
Working alongside the community, Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana underwent a beach renovation to create an environment where our mutual guests can interact with local businesses of Macao. This new environment features restaurants, bars, a boardwalk, and a beach area with a walkway guests can take to explore other areas around Macao beach.
Curacao Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino
Both the Main Pool and swim-up bar underwent enhancements including resurfacing the floor, new tiles, swim-up bar seating and bar top, new illumination, and palm tree garden accents in the middle of the pool. These enhancements began in May and were completed in July.
